A tested middle-school SEL curriculum, in a niche that isn't saturated yet.
32 video lessons. A lesson plan, worksheet, and answer key for every one. CASEL-aligned. Two years in, real schools have paid for it and renewed. It's for sale because two founders couldn't run it full-time — not because it didn't work.
Most SEL curricula are broad — general emotional-regulation content built to stretch across a wide grade range. Almost none of them own the specific mechanics of middle-school friendship: starting a conversation, reading social cues, handling group dynamics and social media.
Building that from scratch means scripting, filming, and testing a full year of content, then convincing schools to pay for something unproven. That's 12 to 24 months and real budget before you know if it works.
It's already built
Two years ago, a school asked for exactly this. We built it. Schools paid for it.
32 video lessons, filmed and edited, across 7 units
A matching lesson plan, worksheet, and answer key for every lesson
Full alignment to all 5 CASEL competencies
Printable posters, a review game, and optional midterm/final assessments
A live delivery site and video hosting, already running
The Pathways: BE name, logo, and domain
7–10 schools paying $495/year (single classroom) or $1,295/year (site license) — several are on their second year
Why we're selling
Two of us built and ran Pathways around full-time jobs. The curriculum worked — schools paid, and some paid again. Producing, selling, and supporting it without going full-time didn't work. This isn't a product that failed. It's a product that outgrew two part-time founders.
We're open to a straight sale, or staying involved on new content if that's useful to whoever takes it on.
Who this fits
An SEL or character-education company rounding out its curriculum without building a new unit from scratch — this kind of deal already happens: FullBloom acquired CharacterStrong in 2025, Riverside Insights acquired Aperture Education in 2024
A curriculum entrepreneur or coach with an audience who wants a finished product instead of building one from zero
Anyone who wants a foothold in SEL before this specific niche gets contested
